Updated Billing Policy and New Fees

At Glebe Family Medical Practice, we take pride in the excellent quality of care we provide to all our patients. We aim to keep providing the best possible comprehensive care.

Bulk billed consultations will continue to be provided to patients with a valid concession or pension card.

Unfortunately, due to the strain of rising costs, we are now in a position where we need to change our billing policy and fees.

Concession and pension card holders will continue to be bulk billed, when presenting your updated card to reception upon arrival.

Moving forward, all patients who do not hold a concession or pension card will be charged privately.

Full-time students without a concession card will be charged a discounted fee when presenting their student ID.

If you are experiencing financial difficulty or hardship, you may want to discuss this with your doctor.

Glebe Family Medical Practice is committed to support Closing the Gap program, and as such, we also offer bulk billed appointments to our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander patients.

The new billing policy and fees has taken effect from the 03/04/2023.

Please find the new consultation fees in the table below:

Notes:
* Health assessments and care plans are bulk billed for all of our patients.
** Full-time student must present a valid student card upon each visit.
