Founded in 1980, our medical practice is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of the local community. While we’ve witnessed numerous advancements in medicine over the past 35 years, our core mission remains unchanged: to provide exceptional medical care to our patients.

Patient-Centered Care, Just for You

At Glebe Family Medical Practice, our team of dedicated GPs prioritizes your needs, practicing patient-centered medicine that puts you first.

We’re here for you six days a week: Monday to Friday from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM, and Saturday from 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM. To accommodate your schedule, we offer a variety of appointment times. Our standard appointments are 15 minutes, but we can easily arrange longer sessions if needed.

Your Privacy Matters

At Glebe Family Medical Practice, we are committed to keeping your medical information confidential. Your patient records are securely computerised and accessible only to our doctors, nurses, and practice manager.

Our reception team have limited access, allowing them to view only essential information such as your phone number, address, and Medicare billing details.

We are now able to help you create a secure electronic health summary, which can assist with communication between your health care services, and should be particularly useful for patients with chronic health issues.

Patient Communication

TELEPHONE CALLS – You can reach our friendly reception team who are able to assist you via 02 9660 8399 during business hours. If you are unable to attend your appointment face-to-face, all of our GPs are available for telehealth video consultations. If you wish to speak with your GP via phone call, a message may be taken as we try to minimise interruptions during patient consultations.

SMS – The practice confirms appointments by SMS the working day prior to your appointment for patients with a valid mobile number. We also send sms clinical reminders to your mobile.

EMAILS – We are not encrypted to send or receive other information via email without patient consent.

Closing the Gap

Our Glebe doctors support the Closing the Gap on Indigenous Health Outcomes which aims to improve indigenous health: life expectancy, infant mortality and early childhood development.

Glebe Medical Services

We offer quality and comprehensive health care to all age groups in our community. This includes preventive health care, antenatal care and paediatrics (including childhood immunisation), women’s health, family planning, men’s health, travel health, minor surgical procedures, chronic disease management, mental health and counselling.

Our Glebe medical practice is fully GPA accredited – we meet the rigorous RACGP standards for general practices in Australia.
