Dr Vanessa Wood

MBBS (USYD), DIP CHILD HEALTH (SYD CHW), FRACGP

Vanessa went to the University of Sydney to study medicine, graduating in 2005. Since then she has completed a Diploma of Child Health and attained the FPAA National Certificate in Reproductive & Sexual Health for Doctors. Prior to entering General Practice, Vanessa focused on Obstetrics and Gynaecology in her hospital work.

She enjoys the breadth of general practice, but has a special interests in women’s health, sexual health, shared antenatal care, paediatrics and indigenous health.

Vanessa is looking forward to working in Glebe and in a practice that has a focus on high quality, patient-centred care.
